Can I recover information myself?
Of course, in simple cases this is possible. Accidentally destroyed files are recovered by common utilities, usually without any problems. This can be done even by poorly trained users -…

Internet integration

Now business is inconceivable without close integration with the Internet. As a rule, several employees of the office need Internet access, and there is only one communication line with the provider. To increase the efficiency of office employees, a proxy server must be installed on the same LAN server. Modern versions of proxy-servers have quite powerful means of protecting the local network, which in itself is important. But the main purpose of the proxy server is not to protect the local network, contrary to a fairly common opinion, namely to provide shared access to the Internet. With the proxy server installed, the employee will not need to know the password to connect to the provider or any other information. By launching a browser on his computer, he can get to any web server in the same way as he receives price lists and other information from the local network. Such access will be available only to those employees who are allowed this right, while the proxy server will keep track of the time the Internet was used by each of the employees, as well as a list of nodes that the employee visited. At the same time, several people can search for information on the Internet (at a slightly lower speed) without interfering with each other. All employees can also send emails over the Internet. Now you can get your own domain name (a unique name of the organization on the Internet) for a moderate fee. Having your own domain name, it is very easy to configure the entire system so that each employee has their own email address. This enables each employee to both send and receive email. A single point of Internet connection will be enough to provide such opportunities both in the main office and in the remote, including when connecting offices only via telephone channels. Individual employees may be given the opportunity to use the full range of services considered even from a home computer or laptop.

Faxing
Despite the widespread use of e-mail, fax, apparently, will remain one of the most important elements of the office for a long time to come. A lot of companies for various reasons still do not have an email address, and any document can be sent to them only by fax. If the office has a local area network with a dedicated server, sending faxes can also be automated. Installing a fax server will allow all employees (of course, who are allowed to do this) to send faxes directly from the Word text editor. At the same time, giving the command to send a fax, the user can immediately forget about it. The fax server will take care of dialing the recipient.

By installing and configuring all the services considered, you will see that the work in the office will become more rhythmic and clear. Moreover, installing a dedicated server on the local network will no longer be a cost only to ensure the operability of the local network itself. The server will be fully loaded with work and will begin to honestly work out the funds spent on it.
